No, you do not need a referral to visit Goldfields Podiatry. However, if you are claiming workers compensation or are entitled to a Medicare scheme rebate for chronic disease management you will need a referral.

Yes, as long as you are covered by your medical fund for podiatry or orthotic services. We support HICAPS, which will automatically process your rebate, saving you time. If your are not covered for podiatry or orthotic services you can still obtain treatment from us, given the full amount is paid before departing the clinic.

Goldfields Podiatry is a private clinic and we do not bulk bill. You may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate if you are part of an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program and are in the care of a General Practitioner (GP) to manage the chronic disease. However, the patient must pay all fees for consults. We bulk bill Aboriginal people that come with an EPC.

Yes, all services at Goldfields Podiatry need to be payed directly after the service has been carried out, even with an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral. We lodge your Medicare claim on your behalf. The EPC covers $55.10 of your service, leaving a small gap left over.

Unfortunately not. You cannot use your private health to cover the gap of a Enhanced Primary Care Plan payment.

Due to the scarcity of our services and to provide the best treatment possible we have updated the following.

Cancellation Policy: We require 24hrs notice for cancellations unless in the cases of medical emergencies. Please note cancellations within 6 hours of your appointment will incur a cancellation fee (50% of the service cost). No new appointments will be booked until the cancellation fee is paid.

Missed Appointment Policy: Missed appointments will incur a missed appointment fee (100% of the service cost). No new appointments will be booked until the missed appointment fee is paid.

Please be prompt for your appointment, we greatly respect your treatment time, and want to provide the best service possible during your whole appointment.
